Orthodontic startup consulting
Orthodontic consulting from an orthodontist who has actually opened practices.
Not a binder and a timeline. Direct access to me, Dr. Kevin Baharvand, and to years of what has worked and what hasn’t, including my own mistakes. You make the decisions. I help you make them with real experience behind them.
Owning a practice can be a lonely job.
As an orthodontist and a small business owner, you make a lot of big decisions on your own. Half the time you don’t know who to ask, or even what the right question is. That’s why this exists. When a decision comes up, you have someone to talk it through with who has already made it.
How this is different
How our orthodontic consulting is different
01
You work with me directly
Not a sales team or an account manager. I’m a board-certified orthodontist, still in the chair every week, and I’ve opened and run multiple offices in DFW.
02
We start before the LOI
Many firms want a market and an LOI before they’ll start. Once you’ve signed, most of the big choices are already made. So we start with the market and the site, before you commit.
03
Data, plus what the data misses
We look at demographics, competition and growth. Then the things a report can’t show: how people drive, where they shop, what the community is really like. Ask me how I know. I’ve made that mistake myself.
04
Independent and confidential
I work for you and coordinate with your broker, lender and attorney. I don’t share information about the doctors I work with, so I don’t hand out client references. Our own practices are public.

Start with a discovery call
Fee $250 for 45 minutes, credited to your first month.
We talk through where you are, the markets you’re considering, and whether working together makes sense. If it doesn’t, I’ll tell you. Cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours ahead for a full refund.
02
Monthly access
Investment A flat monthly fee. We cover it on the call.

03
A small project or the whole journey
Some doctors work with me on one system, strategy or change. Others stay through the whole startup. Either way, I want you to feel confident doing it on your own.
I don’t promise numbers or case starts. This is about access, someone to talk to, and knowing what actually works.
Questions
Orthodontic consulting FAQ
What does an orthodontic consultant do?
An orthodontic consultant helps you make the business decisions behind a practice: where to open, which site to choose, lease terms, build-out, hiring and how the office runs. Here, that’s a practicing orthodontist you can call, not a template.
When should I hire an orthodontic startup consultant?
Before you choose a market or sign an LOI. That’s when the biggest decisions are still open, and when outside experience is worth the most.
Do you only work with startups?
No. Some doctors come to me for one project inside an existing practice, like a system, a strategy or a change they’re planning.
Do you guarantee results?
No. I don’t promise numbers or case starts. What I offer is experience, honest answers and someone to talk to while you make the decisions.
I only take a few doctors at a time. Tell me what you’re planning, and we’ll see if it’s a fit.
